  • Syntax Highlighting
  • Code Folding
  • Outline view
  • Error Annotations
  • Auto Completion

Visual Studio

Installation

Visual Studio 2012 users can install the plugin via the built in update mechanism pointing it to http://esrlabs.com/vs-plugins/rtext/atom.xml.

Users of Visual Studio 2010 need to download the VSIX manually and double click it for installation.

Usage

  • Create a file association for your specific file endings.
  • Open a model file, you don’t even need a solution, you can just drag a file into Visual Studio

Features:

  • Syntax Highlighting
  • Code Folding
  • Error Annotations (grouped by file in the “RText.NET” view)
  • Auto Completion
  • Finding model elements (open the “RText.NET” view)

There are a couple of things to customize in the options setup, look for “Text Editor/RText.NET”.
